Hypnosis is a state of mind, enhanced by mental and physical relaxation, whereby the subconscious mind works with our conscious mind.

This can be achieved by oneself – known as self-hypnosis – or via a therapist and this is known as Hypnotherapy.

Everyone can respond to Hypnotherapy and benefit from it, if they are open to make the changes or have a belief that changes can be achieved.

Hypnotherapy assist in bringing about a necessary or desired change in a person’s life Treatment covers many areas including but not limited to such as anxiety-based disorders, habits, phobias as well as personal development.

You will enter a state of deep and pleasant relaxation prior to the delivery of therapy. This is all achieved just by listening to the therapist as they speak to you in a calm and gentle way. A wide range of techniques are used during the session including power of imagination, metaphors, storytelling or simply by direct suggestion al designed to facilitate change.

It is generally considered helpful if the client is personally motivated to change (rather than relying solely on the therapist’s efforts) although a belief in the possibility of beneficial change may be a sufficient starting point.

Results from Hypnotherapy usually occur in a quicker time frame than other talking therapies. Between 3 and 5 session is average.

You are in full control for the duration of the session – you can fully talk if required or stand up and leave the room should you wish to! Hypnotherapy is in no way related to Stage Hypnosis!
